  Company announcement was published in the morning edition of the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, The Senken Shimbun and the Fukui Shimbun released on Nov. 6.

  Since our establishment in 1972, we have been consistently proposing high-quality eyewear made in Japan (Sabae, Fukui Prefecture). In addition, in recent years, we have also expanded retail business, and we are focusing on enhancing on brand value while expressing our own brand’s worldview at our own stores. Currently, brands including EYEVAN, EYEVAN 7285 and 10 eyevan are disseminated to domestic as well as the global market. EYEVAN is the company name at the time of establishment of the company that was born in 1972 as the concept of “eyewear for dressing as a fashion accessory”. The company name change this time puts back the idea of returning to the origin at the time of establishment, “to disseminate high-quality eyewear made in Japan both in and out of Japan” for the 50th anniversary of the establishment in 2022.
