Gaku Shibasaki, pro soccer player, has newly joined the contract athletes(advisory staff)of “Eyevol”.

“Eyevol”, one of our own brands, has newly entered into an advisory staff contract with Gaku Shibasaki, pro soccer player. “Eyevol” has made contracts with top athletes including Momoko Ueda, pro golfer, with an advisory staff contract, not only during play but also protects the eyes of the players from ultraviolet rays in private time and has utilized athletes’ realistic voice to product development. This contract was born from the relation that Gaku Shibasaki wore the Eyevol privately from beginning of the brand and was also triggered because the attitude of Shibasaki who fights for the top of the world is overlapped with challenge of EYEVAN Inc. as well as the EYEVAN brand and we empathized with it.

Company announcement was published in the morning edition of the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, The Senken Shimbun and the Fukui Shimbun released on Nov. 6.

Since our establishment in 1972, we have been consistently proposing high-quality eyewear made in Japan (Sabae, Fukui Prefecture). In addition, in recent years, we have also expanded retail business, and we are focusing on enhancing on brand value while expressing our own brand’s worldview at our own stores. Currently, brands including EYEVAN, EYEVAN 7285 and 10 eyevan are disseminated to domestic as well as the global market. EYEVAN is the company name at the time of establishment of the company that was born in 1972 as the concept of “eyewear for dressing as a fashion accessory”. The company name change this time puts back the idea of returning to the origin at the time of establishment, “to disseminate high-quality eyewear made in Japan both in and out of Japan” for the 50th anniversary of the establishment in 2022.
